A career in Development is a very attractive and interesting option for many people.
There are many organizations that list vacancies and openings.
You can often register with these organizations to be automatically notifed when suitable vacancies occur.
The United Nations is a major employer, and this page lists some agencies within its range of activities. Here's a page of Links for Careers in Development. I recommend that you check the links, and register with a few organizations that reflect your particular interests. If you make an aplication for a specific opening, you will probably get a response only if you are shortlisted. I believe that there are many people looking for a job, and you will probably have to allow three months to determine the possibilities in your area.
