This Research Project started when I was doing my BA Degree at the University of Westminster.
I was concerned with the Impact of Information Technology on the Role of Women in Traditional Societies.
My Research looked at evidence of any changes that IT is bringing to the Role and Work of women.
I concentrated on Muslim societies, and particularly Malaysia, which is my country of origin.
I designed a Questionnaire which covered aspects of living and working in Traditional societies, and
particularly working with Information Technology, ("IT").
IT can include the Internet, Email, User Groups and Communities, as well as a wide range of Business Applications.
My Project is continuing and the scope has expanded to include the Digital Divide, and its impact
on Women and Children, and Development issues on a Global scale.
